OnTrac is hiring Seasonal Package Handler Leads

Are you ready to take the lead this season and earn some extra income? If you enjoy guiding others, solving problems on the fly, and helping a team succeed in a fast-paced warehouse setting, this short-term opportunity with long-term potential could be the perfect fit for you.

Location Details: 3500 Tricenter Blvd, Suite B, Durham, NC 27713

Pay: $19.95 per hour

Shift: Friday - Tuesday from 1:15 AM to 8:30 AM. Hours subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Employment Logistics:
As a Seasonal Lead Package Handler, you’ll oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. Our Lead Package Handlers are the ultimate team players. They work closely with Area Managers and Operations Managers to train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values.

This is a seasonal position designed to support increased demand during our busiest months, with potential for continued employment based on performance and business needs.

The Must-Haves:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
At least 1 year of Package Handling and Lead experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
Must be at least 18 years of age

Your Mission in Motion:

Supervise offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery.
Train sorters/package handlers to perform assigned tasks safely and accurately.
Provide continual feedback to sorters, both positive and negative.
Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation.
